    Description

    This uncirculated 100 Belizean dollar banknote is part of the 2003-2017 series issued by the Central Bank of Belize. This note bears the date 1st December 2017, the signatures of Central Bank Governor Audrey Joy Grant and Financial Secretary Joseph Waight, and the prefix DC. Its obverse side contains a jade head, the coat of arms of Belize, a school of queen triggerfish and queen angelfish, and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimirs tiara and Queen Victorias golden jubilee necklace. Its reverse side depicts a Bairds tapir and seven different birds: a keel-billed toucan, a jabiru stork, a brown pelican, a red-footed booby, a magnificent frigate bird, a blue-crowned parrot, and a king vulture. The security features of the note are a holographic keel-billed toucan, a toucan registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized BELIZE, and a watermark of a jaguar and electrotype ONE HUNDRED. The note measures 150 mm long and 75 mm wide. It is also printed by De La Rue.
