Featured on the back of the note are an arch, a keel-billed toucan and Bairds tapir, Maya ruins, the Altun Ha in Belize District, and the Lubaantun in Toledo. The 140 x 70 mm paper bill has a registration device in the form of a Xunantunich arch carving from the Cayo District, a windowed security thread with a demetalized BELIZE, and a watermark that shows a carved head of a sleeping giant and an electrotype TWO.
