    Description

Heavily Decorated Etruscan Italian 800 Silver Armband Cuff Bracelet Marked 84FI
For your consideration is a very unusual Etruscan Revival Italian silver cuff bracelet. At 2.2 inches wide, it is fairly massive. It is heavily decoreated with applied silver as well as carvings. Because this bracelet is a cuff bracelet it is adjustable, but as it sits it is 7.25 inches inside circumference tapering to 8 inches on the other side. There is an applied silver tag marked both 800 in a rectangle as well as 84 (and probably FI based on research but it is rubbed), which is the makers registered number. That number corresponds to Figli di Vittorio, Franconeri di Lidia Franconeri, and C Via Mannelli of Firenze, Italy. This piece is identical in decoration to other identified pieces of the firm. It weighs 62 grams.
