Walker & Williams is a long time US crafter of high end leather goods that has been in business for well over 100 years and has recently been producing these outstanding straps.
This is their U-74 Ukulele Strap, in buttery top grain leather.
This type of uke system is adjustable so it can be used with the most common (soprano) uke sizes and is designed so that no strap buttons are needed. Ukes almost never come with strap buttons or any other good way to attach a strap. This cradle system is the solution to that problem and the U-74 is one of the only straps that allows you to put the strap over your shoulder like you normally would with a guitar strap instead of around your neck. This also means that you don’t have to hold on to the uke all the time to keep it from falling like you would with a typical around the neck strap
